Your Teacher:  Mae Dickson.  A few words from Mae about herself;

"Hello, my name is Mae Dickson! My yarn journey began when I learned to knit and crochet when I was about 8 years old, gathering ideas and techniques from books and magazines I could find, and from watching my great-grandmothers make things. I’ve made many mistakes along the way, including making little cups when I meant to make flat circles, or adding random, clashing scraps of yarn to a striped pastel scarf because I ran out of the pastels (and it was not pretty). I then took a long break in my teens, before taking up the craft again in my 20s. I then learned more techniques from as many books as I could get my hands on, and I’ve never looked back. I’ve taught several years at the local recreation center, then was snatched up by Nine Rubies Knitting to be a part of a wonderful team of dedicated yarn enthusiasts. I’ve designed a few of my own patterns, and was asked by Crochet Today! to design a Barbie ski outfit for their January/February 2010 edition, thanks to the little doll clothes I had made and sold on Etsy. I never stop learning, as there are always old techniques I’ve not seen before, or new techniques that pop up in the yarn world. I look forward to guiding you on your own yarn journey.
