Intro to Crochet

Welcome to crochet!  In this course, you will learn how to hold the crochet hook & yarn with proper tension to make a foundation chain, single crochet stitches & slip stitches. With these skills, you will be able to make simple projects like a small pouch, round coaster and little bowl.  This class will prepare you for the next level of crochet class where you can learn more advanced skills, including what you will need to make amigurumi.

All students will use Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino yarn in class.  Please purchase your yarn when you register for the class by following this link:  Purchase Yarn Here.

Skill Level:  Beginning

Class Times: 10:00am - 11:30am, Saturdays - 11/8, 11/15 and 11/22

Class Size: 6 students (age 16+) maximum.  A minimum of 3 students must register and pay for the session in order for the session to be held.   

Fee: $110 for three 90-minutes classes

Yarn:  1 hank of Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino.  Please purchase HERE before 1st Class starts.  Students can purchase more yarn later from Peninsula Flock Knits if they need it.  

Other Materials:  Students will need a 5mm/Size H crochet hook and a tapestry needle, both of which can be purchased from Peninsula Flock Knits at the first class.
