SAPERLIPOPETTE is the latest addition to the Fonty Yarn collection. It is a pretty fluffy, precious and delicate Yarn. Though it does not contain any goat fleece (mohair), because of its aspect and its feel, it completes the family of mohair Yarns (OMBELLE, BLING-BLING, KIDOPALE and MOUSTACHE) and angora Yarns (COEUR D'ANGORA). SAPERLIPOPETTE is a supple and bouncy Yarn, with a soft and soft feel which belongs in fact to the alpaca Yarn family (ALPAGA, ALPAGA NAT, POLAIRE, POLE, SAPERLIPOPETTE) ; it is also an extraordinary alternative for people allergic to mohair.

Entirely natural, it consists of a subtle blend of three exceptional fleeces. The 65% baby suri fibers provide a vaporous, cloudy and fuzzy appearance. The 20% silk adds qualities of resistance and elasticity and a shiny and silky appearance. The extra-fine merino fiber completes the whole by providing its loft, volume and softness.

The suri is a member of the alpaca family (a species of llamas, a branch of camelids), bred in semi-wildlife in the Andean highlands. Its fleece is finer, more wavy (a little rasta, like dreadlocks), and shinier than that of the common alpaca (huacayo).

SAPERLIPOPETTE can be knitted alone, doubled, or in combination with another Yarn. When knitted alone, SAPERLIPOPETTE is recommended with needles # 3.5 to 4.

SAPERLIPOPETTE is preferably washed by hand, with mild soap (Marseille soap, if possible organic), without spinning, with drying flat.
