Our Production
To give Big Merino Hug its special warmth and loft, Rosy Green use extra fine merino wool from Patagonia with 19.5 microns – naturally from certified organic animal husbandry (kbT). The fibers are especially soft, without the bulk of the yarn compromising wearing comfort.
Made with care you can feel
Rosy Green spin the yarn just tightly enough to prevent splitting while knitting and to minimize pilling in the finished garment. The loose hank dyeing makes it even softer and keeps it pleasantly elastic. A joy to knit with. A small mill in Portugal produces the yarn to their exact specifications – using traditional machines and plenty of handwork. You can see the quality in every finished piece.
