ROMA is Lamana's exclusive cloud made of 80% cashmere and 20% mulberry silk, with a meterage of 160m and a weight of only 20g (175 yd. on 0.71 oz). The noble DK yarn blend is spun very airy and offers a unique light and soft luxury with noble cashmere fluff. The homogeneous dyeing of the two fibers gives ROMA a very elegant appearance.
The raw cashmere wool for ROMA is certified in the criteria of animal welfare, sustainability, and social responsibility. Lamana sources these, as well as the mulberry silk, from China. The yarn is spun and dyed in Italy by a family-run traditional company.
ROMA is light as a feather, incomparably soft and extremely economical thanks to the airy volume of the yarn with a meterage of 160m. Knitted one-stranded, it is suitable for dreamlike lightweight scarves and cozy sweaters with magical cashmere fluff but is also perfect for combinations.
