Chibi Drawstring Bag 

Working with raffia yarn is fun! You will be making a cute little drawstring bag that can hold skeins of  yarn, your tool pouch, or any number of items

SKILLS TAUGHT
You will be learning all about bag and basket construction, and learning how to work post stitches, a new waistcoat stitch that is perfect for bags and baskets, and a new cluster stitch.

CLASS TIMES
11:30 am - 1:00 pm, Saturdays

DATES
7/11 and 7/18

CLASS SIZE
5 students (age 16+) maximum.  A minimum of 3 students must register and pay for the class in order for the class to be held.

FEE
$75 for two 90-minutes classes

SKILL LEVEL
Intermediate (must know how to chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet, and work in the round)

MATERIALS
US J (10mm) crochet hook for raffia yarn,
US G (4 mm) or US H (5mm) crochet hook for cotton yarn
removable stitch markers
tapestry needles
Students can purchase crochet hooks  from Peninsula Flock Knits HERE.

YARN
2 skeins of DMC Eco Vita Raffia yarn (will be held doubled) (can be purchased HERE)
1 skein of DMC Eco Vita Recycled Cotton yarn (will be held single) (can be purchased HERE)

Students should plan to purchase their yarn before the first class

Copy of class pattern by Mae Dickson is included.
