FLOCK EweNiversity at Peninsula Flock Knits

Ready for a bit of whimsy? Mosaic colorwork is a great intro to colorwork, as you only knit/purl one color at a time and slip the other color. Best of all you never have to cut your yarn and weave in ends! We will learn to read charts--a useful skill for future colorwork or textured projects--and discuss the rules of mosaic knitting so you can troubleshoot mistakes and fix them.

Pattern is for finished kerchief measuring 30” x 9” but once you learn the basics, you can customize for any weight yarn, any size scarf.

Skills Taught: Mosaic colorwork rules, reading colorwork chart, slipping stitches, MIL increase, SSK decrease

Dates: Saturdays, August 22 and 29
